How BRILL trading works on XRPL
  • BRILL is an issued currency identified by Code + Issuer.
  • The DEX is built into XRPL: place limit orders or trade via AMM pools.
  • Pairs: BRILL/XRP (universal), BRILL/RLUSD (stablecoin) if available.
  • Auto-bridging: Quotes may route BRILL⇄XRP⇄Target for better pricing.
  • Trustline: Must exist to hold/trade issued currencies.
Safety & Tips
  • Always confirm the issuer:
  • Check slippage + fees. For AMMs, verify the pool and LP fee tier.
  • DEX UIs handle partial payments safely—still review order previews.
  • Use reputable interfaces; sign in-wallet (Xaman/Hardware) and verify details before approving.

Quick FAQ

What’s the difference between order book trades and AMM?

Order books match limit orders; AMMs use pools with a swap price & fee. XRPL supports both; some UIs show both side-by-side. Auto-bridging may route through XRP for better execution.

Why do I need a trustline?

Issued currencies (like BRILL) require a trustline to hold/trade them. Always verify the issuer string when adding the trustline or selecting the asset.
